Finally, it is August and the end of a busy month of conferences. It's time to take stock of all we have learned and see what's happening in EdTech. To that end, what did I read this week?

Midnight train to online learning

The University of Georgia released a Strategic Enrollment Management Plan for 2024-2028, which made for some interesting reading, especially with regard to online learning. I am an avid reader of internal (but public) university plans as they reveal a lot about where institutions have been, where they are going, and how they think they can get there.

This report from Georgia was interesting in its call for the need for the institution to increase graduate enrollment. They used NC-SARA data to highlight the fact that while many Georgia residents were enrolled in online graduate programs, a very small proportion of those were enrolled at UGA.
